THE WORD!
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” John 1:1. The Word of God is powerful, the Word of God is creative, the Word of God is everything needed for creation. If there is anything we need today the most, we need the Word of God. When we allow the Word of God to form every part of our lives, it brings completeness. The words that come out of your mouth are the result of what is in your heart. “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” Matthew 12:34. So, it is important to keep the Word of God strong in your heart. The Word has been made available for each and everyone of us to fill up our hearts. No one can do it for us, we must do it for ourselves. “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22. Your growth will be a product of how much of the Word you allow into your life. It does not just happen but there has to be a systematic and deep application of the Word of God in your life. When you allow the Word of God to rest in your heart and let it come out of your mouth, it produces great results—Romans 10:8. It is what you allow to take root in your heart that will flow out of your mouth and then controls your actions. You will become tomorrow what you speak out from your heart today. To have a good life based on God’s Word, you must fill your heart with good, which is the Word of God. Take the Word of God into your life on a daily basis—Romans 10:17. The Word you heard last Sunday is not sufficient for today. There must be a continuous craving and hunger for the Word and the application of the Word brings life to every area of your being. Do not stop believing, do not stop standing on the Word. It is not easy most times to remain in God’s Word, but that we must do. Do not allow the devil, circumstances or anyone to talk you out of God’s Word and what you are believing for. No matter how long you have been waiting for it, do not quit. Do not let the Word depart from your heart and mouth. Hold on strong and hang in there. Faith deals with things that are not seen and when you know that God is fighting for you, you can be at peace, through the Word. — Bishop
